Stop Forgetting Passwords – Get Dashlane!

I Hate Passwords!

I hate passwords. Don’t get me wrong, I like the idea of passwords, I like having my data secure. I don’t want someone hacking my bank account or my Facebook.

But I hate remembering passwords. They suck. And now they’re getting more complicated. You need an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number, and a symbol. Plus, you don’t want to have the same password for everything. So you’ve got dozens of different passwords that are getting more and more elaborate.

And now a lot of companies are requiring that you change your password every three months or so. Then, if you forget one, you’ve got to go through an annoying process to reset your password. Plus, when you forget your password is usually a time when seconds count, and not all websites send you out your reset email automatically. Or worse yet, you could be locked out completely until you call customer service in the morning.

So how do you remember them all? Do you put them in a text file on your computer – which means you’ve got to look them up every time. Do you write them on a scap of paper in your desk? Which could get lost, or the wrong person could find it.

I love Dashlane!

This is why I freakin’ love Dashlane. I started using it a little over a year ago. Now I can’t imagine not having it.

Dashlane is a program you install on your computer, or an app on your phone that makes your password stress a thing of the past. It creates an extension on your web browser that will save you more time than you realize.

When you log on to a website, it remembers you’re password. When you create a new password, it remembers it. It tells you how strong your password is, and offers to make you a really strong password that it will also remember for you.

And you never have to enter these passwords again. And the best part, Dashlane is free. 100% free.

And as an added bonus, it will fill out all your forms for you with your name and address. If you like, it’ll securely store your credit card information – which makes online shopping much, much easier.

There is a monthly subscription service upgrade you can get, for $39.99 a year, or $2.50 a month. You get some extra features, like syncing passwords across devices. I’ve never needed these features, but you may.
